NOVA raises $60K for prevention education and services for victims of crimes in Bucks County
EC Fence & Iron Works, Norristown, was a major sponsor of this year's fundraiser auction.

Network of Victim Assistance, the Bucks County nonprofit that provides services to victims of crime as well as crime prevention education programs, raised $60,000 at Lights, Camera, AUCTION! on Thursday, October 13. All proceeds support NOVA's programs and services.
Major sponsor for this year's fundraising auction was EC Fence & Iron Works, Norristown.
The event, held at Doylestown Country Club, also featured a special performance by the Bucks County Choral Society of selections from A Child’s Requiem, an oratorio in ten movements composed by Steven Sametz in 2014 and dedicated to the those killed in the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn.

The selections were a preview of the oratorio performed in its entirety by Bucks County Choral Society, Riverside Symphonia and Princeton Girlchoir during the BCCS Hope & Remembrance concert on October 23 as part of a community partnership between BCCS and NOVA, “Healthy Families, Healthy Communities.”
