Perkins Property Up For Sale In Warminster
The longtime restaurant on York Road recently closed after 40 years of serving the Warminster area.

WARMINSTER, PA —So now that the Perkins Restaurant and Bakery has closed after 40 years of serving the township, just what will become of the vacant space?
The building at 705 York Rd. has been put up for sale.
Melissa Lippe of J.C. Bar —with offices in York and West Conshohocken —has listed the 5,547-square-foot property which sits on 1.36 acres as available for sale.

Perkins closed abruptly one day late last month after breakfast was served.
Those posting on the Warminster Community Group Facebook page said that employees were told before lunch that the business was closing. Five former employees have found work at the iHop in Warrington.

A sign on the door stated that the township mainstay —which first opened in 1983 —was "permanently closed" and directed customers to the Perkins at 1681 Grant Ave. in Philadelphia, which is operated by the same Warminster Perkins owners.
The agency touts the building location as well-situated in Warminster with great visibility on York Road, and just off Street Road. It has easy access for residents of surrounding areas in Warrington, Horsham, Hatboro, Jamison, Northampton Township, and the Southamptons.
The agency said the property is perfect for a restaurant or a redevelopment opportunity.
The property is near numerous retail locations.
