Road Paving Project Begins In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA —Now that bids have been awarded, the township will begin to fix its "neglected" roads.

Township officials have stated that their roads are "in pretty bad condition" due to years of neglect because the township did not have the funds to get the work done.

But with the funds and contracts in place, the work can now begin.

Township officials said the 2023 Warminster Township Road Paving Program is set to start on May 1 and should be completed within 90 days.

The program includes the resurfacing of approximately 8 miles of roadway.

"We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this year’s paving program," township officials said.

The township is trying to catch up to work that hasn't been done in several years and even a few decades. Some roads haven't been paved since 1993.

These are the roads that will be resurfaced this year:

• Decker Lane —From Hostman Avenue to Parmentier Road
• Donald Drive —From Decker Lane to the Cul-De-Sac
• Overlook Drive —From Newtown Road to Parmentier Road
• Otto Lane —From Overlook Drive to Byron Road
• Byron Road —From Overlook Drive to Decker Lane
• Natale Lane —From Newtown Road to Longstreth Road
• Patton Drive —From Martha Lane to Longstreth Road
• McGlynn Road —From Martha Lane to the end
• Martha Lane —From Rilling Road to 379 S. Norristown Rd.
• Rilling Road —From Newtown Road to Martha Lane
• Schoolhouse Lane —From Street Road to McGlynn Drive
• Citation Lane —From Schoolhouse Lane to the end
• Longstreth Road —Schoolhouse Lane to Byron Road
• Walnut Road —From Gibson Avenue to Magnolia Road
• Chestnut Road —From Bloomfield Road to Henry Avenue
• Wallace Drive —From Primrose Drive to King Way
• Fairfield Drive —From Henry Avenue to King Way
• Primrose Drive —From Fairfield Drive to Gibson Avenue
• Fern Road —From Primrose Drive to Gibson Avenue
• Magnolia Road —From Wallace Drive to Claire Road
