Road Rage Shooting On I-95 In Philadelphia: State Police

Road rage sparked a shooting and then a crash involving multiple vehicles on I-95 in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, authorities said. The incident began at around 10 a.m. near mile marker 15.3. Pennsylvania State Police said an Oldsmobile sedan and a pickup truck became involved in a confrontation. No injuries were reported. (Read More)

Negotiated Plea Deal For Man Guilty In Fatal Bensalem Hit-And-Run

A Lower Southampton man who admitted to killing a 14-year-old boy crossing Street Road in Bensalem in July 2023 has a negotiated plea agreement, authorities said. James Shulski, 36, will spend 2 1/2 to 5 years in prison and six years probation, which will be served concurrent to his incarceration, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said. (Read More)

Lower Bucks Bridge Renamed After Fallen Soldier

The Route 213 bridge over the Neshaminy Creek in Lower Southampton Township now has a new name, dedicated to a fallen soldier. A California mansion belonging to the son of Phillies owner John Middleton has been covered in graffiti and taken over by squatters, according to multiple media reports. It's the second California property owned by Middleton's son targeted with vandalism in as many weeks, after a similar incident occurred nearby. The most recently targeted property is on 1754 N. 'Dangerous Behaviors' With Toy Guns At Jenkintown Schools: Officials

Multiple students "engaged in dangerous behaviors" involving Orbeez-style guns on the school campus after dismissal Friday, school officials said. Jenkintown Schools Superintendent Jill Takacs sent a letter to parents and guardians about the incident. "Given the increase in school shootings in our nation over the past decade, we take any and all threats associated with guns of any kind very seriously," Takacs said. (Read More)
