Mayor Cherrelle Parker Wednesday took to social media to announce the agreement between the team and the city, which said is "best financial deal ever entered into by a Philadelphia mayor for a local sports arena." Father Of 6 Identified As Man Killed By Officers In Montco
The man who was shot and killed by police in Montgomery County over the weekend has been identified as a father of six who "loved his job," according to his obituary. Gabriel Diaz, 55, was pronounced dead inside his East Greenville home Sunday night. After hours behind a barricade, Diaz charged at officers while wielding a hatchet and machete, authorities said. When they shot him with a taser, he did not stop, and officers said they then opened fire. (Read More)

3 Men Convicted In Killing Of Montco Man Who Had Won Lottery
Three men have been convicted in the robbery and killing of a Norristown man who had won the lottery earlier this year. Damon Brantley Jr., 18, of Norristown, who police said pulled the trigger, was convicted of first-degree murder. Daquan Allen, 29, of Norristown, and Jerry Butler, 28, of Philadelphia, were both convicted of second-degree murder. The victim's girlfriend, Katherine Emel, 29, of Plymouth Meeting, has also been charged with second-degree murder. (Read More)
'Armed' Woman Who Fired Shots At Bucks Co. Office Wanted
Police are seeking a woman considered to be armed who is wanted on several felonies and for firing shots that shattered a window of the Bucks County Assistance Office on Wednesday morning. The Bristol Township Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of April Campbell Precha for several felonies including aggravated assault and being a person not allowed to possess a firearm. Family Of 5 Loses Everything In Lower Bucks House Explosion
A family of five lost everything after their house exploded over the weekend in Middletown Township. "There are no words to describe the magnitude of what I saw last night when arriving at their house with the core circle of other family and friends there to make sure they were okay," said Ariana Musil, who organized a GoFundMe page fundraiser. The family of five was not home at the time and their three dogs were also rescued and safe, Musil said. (Read More)
