Warminster Declares Snow Emergency Due To Storm
Warminster Township officials said the emergency declaration for Tuesday's snowfall remains in effect until 2 p.m.

WARMINSTER, PA —The township has issued a Declaration of Disaster Emergency due to Tuesday's storm.
Township officials said that the declaration remains in effect until 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The Warminster Township Police Department will be enforcing all snow ordinances during the declaration, which started at 8:30 a.m.

Police seek the community's help in removing all cars and vehicles from the roadway, so snow plowing operations are not delayed.
"Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter," officials said.

The National Weather Service of Philadelphia/Mount Holly said that accumulating snow is spreading slowly southeastward across the region presently and should reach the Philadelphia region during the morning rush hour.
The weather service said that snow should end near midday with a much nicer afternoon.
A township ordinance states that it is unlawful to park or allow to be parked, any motor vehicle on any road or street within the township when an emergency has been declared by the township manager.
Ordinance No. 702 said that no person removing snow or ice from public sidewalks or private property shall throw, shovel, push, plow, or otherwise move snow or ice into the public street.
