Warminster Scouts Complete Local Service Projects

Thanks to these local Eagle Scout candidates and troops, who have completed a number of service projects recently in Warminster.

Several local Eagle Scout candidates and troops have completed a number of service projects recently, including the improvements to Warminster Community Park.

According to the township, the following recent local projects have been completed:

  • William Solly, Boy Scout Troop 200, completed installation of a Gaga Pit at Warminster Community Park.
  • William Drakas, Troop 172, installed yellow 1/4 mile markers around the perimeter trail at Warminster Community Park to assist Emergency Services to identify where people are in the park should the need arise.
  • Several local PA Horticultural Society Tree Tenders worked with members of Troop 200 to install 24 bare root trees in Kemper Park. This project will assist with the reforestation of that property after the numerous ash trees were removed due to the Emerald Ash Borer infestation.
  • Girl Scout Troop 21232 is working to raise funds to install another Gaga Pit at Maple Street Park. To make a donation, contact Troop Leader, Brenda McCarty, at 215-957-0795.
