State Trooper Shot Tuesday Released From Hospital
The Pennsylvania State Trooper who was shot on Tuesday while chasing a suspect in Philadelphia has been released from the hospital, reports stated.
“Thank you everyone for all their prayers and support. Happy to be going home for Thanksgiving. I’m feeling much better,” said Trooper Patrick Casey, 31, according to 6 ABC, as he left Hahnemann University Hospital.
Authorities say Giovanni Cotto, 17, shot Casey along I-676 westbound in Center City. Cotto is being held on $3 million bail.
