Desper's guilty plea, made in September, was for third-degree murder and possession of an instrument of crime.
Desper was described by friends as a "cool, calm guy" who did not have a "snap personality," according to a Philly.com interview with his friend Karl Pritz of Bensalem.
Roberson, who had just graduated from Rustin in the spring, was headed to Jacksonville University in the fall on a four-year merit scholarship to study criminal justice.
