SPCA's 'Puppyland' In West Chester Raises Money For Barclay
West Chester's "Puppyland" event raised more than $2,500 for victims of the fire at Barclay Friends Senior Center.

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Brandywine Valley SPCA's recent event in West Chester raised more than $2,500 for Barclay Friends Senior Center to help them recuperate in the wake of last month's devastating fire.
The West Chester University "Puppyland" Fundraiser, held on campus, gave students and members from the community the chance to spend time with puppies in exchange for a donation.
A total of $2,536 was raised during the event, BVSCPCA announced.

The money was donated in the form of a check to Barclay Friends on Thursday afternoon. Organizers said the funds would help victims replace things which they had lost in the fire.
