"I am proud of the township improvements and accomplishments during tenure on the board," Weiss said.
Kratzer said that Weiss was elected in November 2017 and served as a supervisor for five years and seven months.
Over the course of that time, he served as chairman for one year and seven months with 12 months in 2020 and seven months this year, Kratzer said.
Weiss said during his two years as chairman, "We made the decision to sell our sanitary sewer system to Aqua, develop 'Prickett Preserve,” implement a plan to double our road paving program, hire more staff, modernize our online infrastructure and services all without raising taxes," Weiss said. "These decisions also allowed us to eliminate more than half our debt, create a township trust to reduce the pressure to raise real estate taxes, make the golf course profitable, and pass an open space ordinance which will keep more than 100 additional acres from development."
