Grey Nun Academy Break-Ins Continue In Lower Makefield Township

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department said a window was broken in an Oct. 8 incident. Police reported a few recent break-ins.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The former Grey Nun Academy continues to be a source of frequent reports for the police department.

The Lower Makefield Police Department reported an alarm activation at the academy on the 1700 block of Quarry Road at 6:11 p.m. on Oct. 8.

Police found a broken window, but it did not appear that anyone gained entry through the window.

Video surveillance showed a juvenile male inside.

Nothing was reported missing and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

There have been a few break-ins reported by police at the academy in the past few months.

Last month, police sought four suspects for a break-in and another report stated a large crucifix was stolen.
