I-295W Was Closed Thursday After Crash In Lower Makefield
A crash had westbound traffic down to one lane Thursday morning, with plans to close that direction entirely to remove a vehicle.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Westbound traffic on Interstate 295 in Lower Makefield was reduced to a single lane after a crash Thursday morning, with plans to shut down all lanes to remove a vehicle there.
Township police said that an accident near the rest stop exit had caused lanes to close early Thursday. The township said that, at noon, westbound traffic on I-295 will be closed completely for about a half-hour to remove a vehicle.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible.

According to PennDOT, the crash happened between the rest area exit and Exit 8 for PA 332/Newtown.
