Lanes To Close On I-95, I-295 In Bucks Next Week
The construction between Academy Road and the Newtown-Yardley interchanges continues.

Lanes on Interstate 95 and Interstate 295 will be closed once again next week as construction in the area continues.
The overnight, single-lane closures will be in both directions between the Academy Road and Rt. 332 (Newtown-Yardley) interchanges. They'll run Monday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 22, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m.
According to PennDOT, crews will be doing subbase installation as part of a project to fix up 13 miles of the interstates in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 and I-295 in the work areas because backups and delays are expected to occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement, performing base repairs, installing new guide rail, repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs, performing minor bridge deck repairs and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 and I-295 corridor in Bucks County.
