Main Street Sidewalk Project In Yardley Gets Boost

Officials in Yardley have called completing the North Main Street sidewalk a top priority.

YARDLEY, PA — The Main Street sidewalk project in Yardley got a financial boost from the state government on Tuesday.

State Sen. Steve Santarsiero announced that a $125,000 state infrastructure grant for the second phase of the sidewalk project has been approved. The Main Street funding was part of nearly $2 million in infrastructure grants in Bucks County that Santarsiero announced.

"The funding for these infrastructure projects will advance public safety and drive economic growth," Santarsiero said in a news release. "As these projects begin to take shape, residents, businesses, and commuters alike will experience the improvements to our thriving community."
