Main Street In Yardley To Close Next Weekend

Crews will be doing work on the SEPTA railroad underpass from late next Friday through Sunday, local officials announced.

UPDATE: Main Street in Yardley was re-opened to through traffic Sunday morning.

YARDLEY, PA — Main Street in Yardley will be closed to traffic next weekend, as crews do work on the SEPTA railroad underpass in the area, officials announced.

The closure will begin Friday, Oct. 4 at 11 p.m. and run through Sunday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m., Lower Makefield Township announced Thursday afternoon. There will be a detour that will run from Afton Avenue to River Road to Black Rock Road.

Main Street will remain open to local traffic, according to a social media post by the township.
