They included Michael Brennan, Marilynn Huret, Michael Husla, Monica Hinden, Allen DePuy, Mark Cherepko, Dave Forster, James Gallagher, and Kimberly Enterline. Coyle was interviewed Friday for the position and appointed at a special meeting.

“We look forward to working with Mr. Coyle for the remainder of 2023 as we collectively work to establish a framework for a successful 2024," Acting Supervisors' Chairwoman Suzanne Blundi said.
"We were fortunate to have had so many capable and qualified people express an interest in this position. It is a true testament to the strength of our community,” Blundi added.
Coyle lives in the township's Mirror Lake neighborhood with his wife, Lina, and their three
daughters: Toma, Eva, and Talia.
He and his wife were raised in the township and returned in 2018 to raise their own children, after building their careers in Northern Virginia.
Coyle serves as senior vice president of sales for Haivision, a video technology company that provides solutions for global broadcasters as well as federal and public safety missions.
He is proud to sponsor Haivision’s membership in the Real-Time Crime Center Association and is fortunate to speak on public safety technology partnerships with law enforcement throughout the United States.
Coyle’s volunteerism has been lifelong.
During Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, he created the “Graduation On-Demand for Deployed Soldiers” program in partnership with VBrick Systems, LTI DataComm, and Operation Homefront.
This partnership provided live and on-demand streaming of high school graduation ceremonies
at no cost to service members serving overseas.
In 2021, Coyle was presented with the Kevin O’Donnell, Jr. Service to SFWA award by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association for his years of service as their A/V director and technical director of the Nebula Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in Speculative Fiction. He welcomes any discussion on your favorite works of speculative fiction.
Coyle has served on the Lower Makefield Township Planning Commission since February.
“I’m honored to be given the opportunity to serve the community by joining the Board of Supervisors in this interim role," he said. "The people of the Township and its many wonderful organizations, such as PAA, have given so much to me and my family in my life and I hope that this service gives me the opportunity to return some small measure of that support.”
