Part-Time Police Officer Candidates Wanted In Yardley Borough
The Yardley Borough Police Department lost an officer who was hired full-time in Lower Southampton Township last October.

YARDLEY, PA —The Yardley Borough Police Department is seeking applications for a part-time police officer.
The police department is looking for candidates who are currently in an ACT 120 class, possess ACT 120 certification, or have retired in Pennsylvania or full-time in any state.

Part-time officer Heather Carnivale had left Yardley to join Lower Southampton Township as a full-time officer. She had also worked in the Penndel Borough Police Department.
Yardley Police Chief Joseph Kelly III had announced at the Borough Council's Oct. 11 meeting that Carnivale would be leaving.

That was the same meeting where the borough added its own new officer in Dakota B. Romberger, who was promoted from a part-time police officer. He joined the force in 2020.
Last September, Yardley hired Robert Gergal Jr. as a part-time police officer.
