The closure is part of the ongoing, 4 1/2 year improvement project on and around Scudder Falls Bridge.

YARDLEY, PA — A short section of the Delaware and Raritan Canal towpath on the New Jersey side of the Scudder Falls Bridge is set to be closed next week.
The closure, needed to make repairs on the approach bridge that carries I-295 across the canal and nearby Rt. 175/River Road/Rt. 29, will be from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, through Wednesday, Oct. 31, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced.
Pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to exercise caution when traveling along the canal near or through the work areas next week and throughout the 4 1/2-year bridge replacement project.
