YARDLEY, PA —Pipe replacement projects begin this week in Lower Makefield Township and Morrisville, which will mean road closures and detours for drivers, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said two maintenance activities are scheduled on the Yardley area roads.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

During the closure, motorists are directed to use Mount Eyre Road, Taylorsville Road, and Woodside Road.

During the closure, motorists are directed to use Bridge Street, U.S. 13 (Bristol/Yardley) Interchange, Yardley Interchange, Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road/Main Street/Taylorsville Road, and Woodside Road.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
