River Road To Close For Work On Bridge
The closure next week will be in the area of the Scudders Falls Bridge, where construction is ongoing.
LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — Part of River Road will be closed to traffic next week for construction on the Scudders Falls Bridge.
The closure in both directions will be Monday, Dec. 10, and Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. See the map below for details on where the road will be closed.
The closure will be between Woodside and Afton avenues.

Northbound traffic on River Road/Delaware Avenue from Afton Avenue will be open up to the closure. The detour during those times will be River Road to Afton Avenue to North Main Street/Taylorsville Road to Woodside Road.
