Sidewalk, Curb And Ramp Replacements Begin Tuesday In Morrisville

Morrisville officials warn residents to move their vehicles parked in the work zone. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 22.

MORRISVILLE, PA —Residents are advised to move their cars each day as the borough begins some sidewalk work starting Tuesday.

T. Schiefer Contractors Inc. will be performing concrete curb, sidewalk and ramp replacements at several intersections through Nov. 22, borough officials said.

Work hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The intersections are:

  • Hillcrest Avenue and Mercer Avenue
  • Hillcrest Avenue and South Lafayette Avenue
  • Union Street and North Washington Street

Borough officials said there will be no parking during work hours. Officials are asking residents to move their vehicles each morning before 7 a.m. every day until the project is completed.

Any vehicle left in the work zone will be towed at the owner's expense, officials said.
