Snapshot: Calhoun Street Bridge Showcases Sunrise

MORRISVILLE, PA —The sun was rising.
Before the traffic, Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman was out early, taking this snapshot of the Calhoun Street Bridge, just after sunrise.

His view was from Morrisville, looking toward Trenton, N.J. The beautiful, early morning sky was reflected in the Delaware River.
It is an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from five exposures that he merged.

Over the weekend, he saw the Broadway show "Hadestown.
"One of my favorite lines was "“Orpheus was a poor boy, but he had a gift to give: he could make you see how the world could be… in spite of the way that it is."
"We could all use an occasional reminder of how the world could be," Friedman said.
