Editor's Note —This is a weekly series that runs exclusively on the Yardley Patch.

YARDLEY, PA —The Gather Place has found a home in the borough as a place of historic significance.

The old African Methodist Episcopal Church has been transformed into a Bucks County museum over the past few years and The Gather Place has generated lots of interest and activity as a place where people can learn about Yardley's role in the "Underground Railroad."

The church was recently renovated and it shines as a jewel along South Canal Street.

Photographer Josh Friedman decided to make this his recent Snapshot.

"About a week ago, I took this photograph of a beautiful spring sunrise over church," Friedman said.

For photography enthusiasts, the snapshot is an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph that he created by merging four exposures.
