Most of us aren't up that early to catch the sun coming up each day but Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman saw the rising sun.

He captured it in a snapshot peeking over the distant trees at the edge of Lake Luxembourg, in Core Creek Park, in Langhorne.
Friedman said the early morning clouds filled the sky with a beautiful design. The canoe and pier served as a nice foreground, and they led the viewer's eyes into the picturesque scene.

For photography enthusiasts, Friedman said the snapshot is an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from four exposures that he merged together.
