Snapshot: 'El Capitan' Captured On California Road Trip
Yardley photographer Josh Friedman captures landscape frames of scenes throughout Bucks County in this Patch photo feature.

CALIFORNIA —Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman is a big fan of America's national parks.
So he recently took a road trip, leaving Bucks County behind for a week.

Friedman ventured to Yosemite National Park (as part of National Park Week):

"I am a very big fan of our National Parks and have visited about 21 of them over the years, and look forward to seeing many others," Friedman told Patch.
Several months ago, Friedman spent about five days photographing Yosemite in winter.
He's been there four or five times over the past 38 years, but this was his first time going in winter.
This is his photograph of "El Capitan," before sunrise, as seen from "Tunnel View."
"It was a truly beautiful morning, with fresh snow falling overnight, as well as low-lying fog flowing throughout Yosemite Valley," he said.
