Woodside Road Near Bridge To Close Over Weekend

In Lower Makefield Township, the road will be paved as part of the ongoing work around Scudder Falls Bridge.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — A portion of Woodside Road, near the Scudder Falls Bridge, will be closed to traffic over the weekend as work on and around the bridge continues.

A section of the road, in Lower Makefield Township, will be closed between Taylorsville Road and River Road starting at 8 a.m. Friday. The closure is so that patch of road can be repaved, transportation officials said.

PennDOT officials say that traffic will still be allowed into the Park-n-Ride off of Woodside road, but that the rest of the street will be closed. The work is expected to last through Saturday and possibly into Sunday.
