RISP Task Force Takes Down 2 On Meth, Coke And Conspiracy Charges: Cops

The task force executed search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation, police said.

A Rhode Island State Police task force took down a man and woman on methamphetamine, cocaine and conspiracy charges, police said.

Austin Freelove, 27, and Shannon Freelove, 43, were arrested about noon Wednesday on charges of possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine and controlled substance conspiracy, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

The Freeloves were arrested by the state police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, according to the release.

The arrests were "the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation," the release said.

The Freeloves were processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions, according to the release.
