Rhode Island ranked notched the sixth highest "online shopping obsession score," according to the study concucted by MobiLoud.

"The analysis evaluated all 50 states on three equally weighted factors: the share of residents who shop online, the likelihood of making weekly online purchases, and search activity for online shopping terms," according to a media release accompanying the results of the study.

According to the analysis, 75.76% of Rhode Island residents shop online, their weekly purchasing likelihood is 11.6% and search demand sits at 14,747 online shopping searches per 100,000 internet users.

"Rhode Island combines moderate adoption with high search intensity, pushing it into the top 10 despite its smaller population," the release said.

Rhode Island placed behind Washington and ahead of Utah for its online shopping obsession score.

The highest score went to New Hampshre, followed by Vermont and Delaware.
