West Warwick Woman Charged With Stealing More Than $10K Worth Of Property: Cops
The woman surrendered to troopers, police said.
WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick woman was charged with stealing more than $10,000 worth of property, police said.
Courtney Smith, 37, was arrested about 5:45 p.m. Thursday on a warrant charging her with obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretenses or personation, giving a false document to an agent, employee or public official, and fraudulently obtaining more than $500 in public assistance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Smith surrendered to the law at the Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned and released a future court date, according to police.
