• Generator running during power outage sparks Bristol house fire (wpri.com) — A generator running during a power outage sparked an early-morning house fire on Meadow Lane in Bristol, but firefighters and a quick-acting police officer got everyone out safely and contained the flames within 20 minutes. Investigators say the blaze started in the generator outside the home, offering a timely reminder for residents to double-check how they're using backup power equipment.
