• Biking 114 miles through 15 towns, powered by RI ice cream (providencejournal.com) — A long-distance cyclist's "Three Scoops Century Challenge" includes riding the Blackstone River Bikeway through Central Falls as part of a 114‑mile tour of Rhode Island's major bike paths. Along the way he links Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cumberland and other towns with strategic ice cream stops that keep him going through hills, fatigue, and more than 100 miles in the saddle.
