Construction has begun on the site of the new senior housing development.

The endeavor will specifically house "low-income senior citizens while offering certain services," said Christine Slick, public housing manager. The application process for these units has not yet begun, however eligible candidates must be 58 years of age or older.
There will be a groundbreaking ceremony on Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. followed by a small reception at the Authority's Knotty Oak Village Community Hall.
