Cranston Backs Former Mayor Allan Fung For Congress In 2022 Election
Cranston mostly voted blue, but did support some Republican candidates like Allan Fung and Aaron Guckian.

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston strayed from the rest of the state when voting for its former mayor for U.S. Congress questions and another statewide office, according to unofficial results released Tuesday night.
Cranston supported its former mayor, Allan Fung (R), for U.S. Congress over Seth Magaziner, who the Associated Press projected as the winner. The city also differed from the rest of the Ocean State by backing Aaron Guckian for lieutenant governor.
