Lettieri Wins Cranston School Board Race, Incumbents Sweep State Races

The incumbents on both the Democratic and Republican side representing Cranston all won their primaries.

On the Republican side, Barbara Ann Fenton Fung​ won her primary 588-48 over Suzanne Michelle Downing​. Fung won't face a challenger in the general election.​​​​​

CRANSTON, RI — The unofficial results for the Rhode Island primary are on Tuesday night for all but two races affecting Cranston.

As for the state senate and state representative primaries, incumbent Democrats state Sen. Frank Lombardo, Rep. Charlene Lima, Brandon Potter, Joseph McNamara and Edward Cardillo will keep their seats, as they face no challengers in the general election.

District 31 state senate Democratic candidate Matthew LaMountain defeated Harrison Tuttle 2,493-1,276. That district will face a challenger on the Republican side, where Lisa Morse won 527-144 over John Silvaggio.
