PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- For the fifth year in a row, Governor Gina Raimondo is asking the state's young girls: what would do you as governor for the day?

"You can’t be what you can’t see. Despite our progress, too many young girls grow up without seeing themselves represented in their government," Raimondo wrote in a release. "It’s important to me that young girls know their ideas — and their futures — are limitless."

The contest runs through March 15 and is open to girls in grades five through eight.
