RI General Assembly Cancels Sessions For Second Week: Coronavirus
The decision was made by House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio along with the RI Department of Health.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The state house will remain closed for another week. On Thursday, the General Assembly announced that the House and Senate will not meet next week., extending the originally week-long closure.
The General assembly is now tentatively scheduled to reconvene on March 30. The decision was made by House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio along with the Rhode Island Department of Health.
