Cumberland Man Eludes Law But Later Nabbed By Pawtucket Police: Cops

The Cumberland man eluded the law in a high speed chase, police said.

CUMBERLAND, RI β€” A Cumberland man eluded the law but was later apprehended, police said.

Kinza Leal, 26, was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. Friday on a warrant charging him with eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high-speed pursuit and reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Leal was captured by the Pawtucket Police Department, according to the release.

Leal was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned and released with a notice to appear in court, the release said.
