The Savory Affair Ushers in Autumn With Gourmet Culinary and Vineyard Experience

The Savory Affair, New England’s premier event planning and design firm, just announced the availability of a decadent vineyard experience of wine blending and gourmet cuisine with Jonathan Edwards Winery, Chef David Dadekian, and Blackbird Farm.

This personalized culinary and wine experience will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the beautiful Jonathan Edwards Vineyard in North Stonington, Connecticut. Formerly a 400-acre dairy farm, Jonathan Edwards’ estate accentuates New England charm with a touch of Napa style. Indulge in a full day learning the art of wine blending and enjoying thoughtfully prepared food.

This event includes a gourmet lunch in the barrel room, prepared by Chef David Dadekian with local fresh ingredients and beef from Blackbird Farm, Smithfield, RI, and sweet nibbles from Sweet Twist. Dadekian’s creations often include meat from the Farm’s all-natural, hormone-free, pasture-fed, 100% Black Angus cattle and 100% pedigreed American Heritage Berkshire pigs.

This daytrip includes:

· Round-trip transportation (Departure at 10 AM & return by 4:30 PM).

· Arrive at 11 AM at the winery for a private tour of the fields and barrel room.

· Learn how winemakers produce wine and participate in blending your own wine from various barrel samples.

· Enjoy a gourmet lunch in the barrel room, prepared by Chef David Dadekian.
