• A Lincoln firm makes the machines that make your food packaging (newportri.com) — Windmoeller & Hoelscher's North American headquarters operates from an industrial park in Lincoln, supporting the machines that create much of the plastic film and packaging used for everyday foods. The Lincoln facility focuses on sales, service, and a large parts warehouse, and was recently recognized as a Top Workplace in Rhode Island for its strong employee-focused culture.
   

• Man arrested on DUI charge in Lincoln (newportdispatch.com) — State police responded to a drunken driving crash on Route 146 in Lincoln Monday night, arresting a Cranston man whose blood alcohol level tested more than twice the legal limit. He and another man arrested later in Providence were both processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, with one released to a guardian and the other held as a bail violator.
   

• Custodians, RIA Platforms Target Fidelity Clients on Heels of $100M Minimum (wealthmanagement.com) — A Lincoln-based financial planner, Angela Thomson of Coastal Financial Planning, is among many smaller advisors told by Fidelity they no longer meet its new $100 million asset minimum. She plans to retire and sell her practice instead of switching custodians, while rival firms like Schwab, Betterment, and Axos aggressively court advisors displaced by Fidelity's decision.
