Connecticut Man Drove Wrong Way On I-95 In Richmond: Cops
The Connecticut man was driving under the influence and possessed a weapon, police said.
RICHMOND, RI — A Connecticut man drove the wrong way on Interstate 95 in Richmond, police said.
Shakimm Curry, 35, was arrested shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, reckless driving, possession of a weapon other than a firearm, and refusing to submit to a chemical test, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Curry, a resident of New London, was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and held overnight for a morning arraignment, the release said.
