MA Pair Arrested On Drug Charges During Traffic Stop In Providence: Cops
One was charged with possessing cocaine and fentanyl and the other was only charged with possessing cocaine.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Two Massachusetts residents were arrested on drug charges after they were pulled over in Providence, police said.
Ocean Gonzalez, 29, and Desire Thornton, 28, were pulled over about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday on Atwells Avenue, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Gonzalez was charged with possessing cocaine and fentanyl, according to the release, and Thornton was only charged with possessing cocaine.

Gonzalez and Thornton live in the same apartment on Broadway in Revere, the release said.
Gonzalez and Thornton were processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a Sixth Division District Court date, according to police.
