Table Top Gaming ~ Fantasy Age: Play this player- guided, character-driven RPG. Choose your own adventure, create your own character - feel free to dress up - to battle against evil for GLORY...and to save the world!! We will be playing in June, July, and August. Upon registering, you will receive an email with a character sheet to enable you to create your own character. Monday, June 6th @ 7:00 pm.

Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program: An eight-week workshop to develop communication and leadership skills through practical experience. Sponsored and conducted by Toastmasters International. Tuesday, June 7th @ 4:00 pm.

Birthday Mail ~ make cards for kids: Join us in making birthday cards for children in shelters. We will have cards and art materials for you to make birthday cards for kids who don’t have anyone to celebrate birthday with.. This is a Community Service Project, through DoSomething.org and accumulates an hour of community service for participating. Thursday, June 9th @ 3:30 pm. For ages 10+.

Chess: learn to play chess from other kids and teens. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun! No registration required. Friday, June 10th @ 3:30 pm.

Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Adults can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play in the quiet reading area. No registration required. For all ages. Tuesday, June 7th @ 10:30 am.

Summer Reading Kickoff ~ Get Read, Get Fit, Read! - celebrate our summer reading kickoff with performer Patricia Shih who will have you up, moving and having fun to coincide with our Get Ready, Get Fit, Read theme! For ages 4 and up. No registration is required. Tuesday, June 7th @ 3:00 pm.

Simply Storytime: This family program gathers in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area for some story time fun! For all ages. No registration required. Wednesday, June 8th @ 10:30 am.

Lapsit Storytime for Prewalkers: This program provides infants that are not yet walking with a first group experience in enjoying books, nursery rhymes, songs and fingerplays. A drop-in program for ages up to 32 months. Monday, Friday, June 10th @ 10:00 am.
