A Friend...INDEED!

When tragic occurrences strike us, or, our loved-ones, these are the moments it pays to have faith; at least, this is what I find works for me. In my desire to understand, to the best of my capability, the pain and suffering that we endure in this life, I, first, must be willing to accept that 'all things happen for a reason', which, I do. I, also, choose to embrace the existence of a 'Higher-Power'; One, whom exists to help shoulder my burdens, One who is, ALWAYS, there for me, and, One who will, love me, unconditionally, for eternity. When I am 'armored' against the ills of life, by the cloak of LOVE and Understanding, gifted to me from the Father, I can give to God what is God's; by accepting that life plays out as it must, along with knowing God wants us not to suffer, I can unburden myself to Him .The world will throw us a curve-ball', or, bring us to our knees from challenge, every so often; When it does, it's important to be 'armed' against the ravages, which can result from the suffering we, often, must, endure, during our lives. Often, when we do not have a vested interest in a 'belief-system' we will flounder when difficult situations present to us. God is The Anchor, to whom we can cling, when the seas of life toss us about. Although, over my lifetime, I haven't, always, relied on this gift, God has, still, FOREVER 'had my back', and, been there for me. It's wonderful to embrace this reality; for me, it has been a 'life-changer'. So, when your life feels out of control, from ANYTHING you are experiencing; when you find yourself flailing and faltering, remember that you have a friend in the Lord. He wants us to come to Him. He wishes for us to know Him. He desires for us to rely on Him. He is here, for us, when others may not, or, cannot be. Take advantage of this...this is His wish. Just Prayin'...
