A Toast, To My Little Friends...

   Finally, had to bring in the 'hummer' feeders. Each year, when I accomplish this wee task, I get a touch sad; For, these little creatures are so pleasing, to me, and, touch my heart. I look forward, each Spring, to their arrival, and, always, hate to see them leave. Alas...it is, once again, 'that time of the year'! Yet, I do so enjoy Autumn, with it's crisp, delightful, air, blazing colors, and, delicious fare. Apples and pumpkins are on the menu! This year, for the first time since acquiring it, my step-dad's home-made apple-press is working it's magic. My son and a great pal of his are making apple-cider, and...is it DELISH! So, as I sit here, saying 'so long' to another season passed, I raise a glass of this most, tasty, nectar, and, while still enjoying the moment, look forward to another Springtime, and, the return of my flighty lil' friends. Just Sayin'...
