A Word To The Wise...

     Each AM, as I, enjoy my morning 'cup 'o' joe', I, too, peruse my email. I never, honestly, expect to be in receipt of much, more, than, the 'typical' advertisements, and, communications, sent, me, from 'sites' I've signed on to, with, these, coming to my 'Inbox'. Of course, I check out what has entered my 'SPAM', as, on occasion, some, 'legitimate' 'piece of mail' gets sent there, erroneously; however, over all, the messages contained, therein, are NOTHING but 'JUNK'! I chuckle, aloud, to myself, as, day after day, the SAME, nonsensical, 'news', brought about by way of this nuisance-'mail', offers up 'offers' of all things, from stupendous, 'sex-secrets', to the great-news that I've 'WON' some 'overseas' lottery, which, of course, I've NEVER entered. Fairly, frequently, I find a piece, containing a 'plea' from some, 'head of state' from a little, known, 'third-world-country' beseeching of me to assist him or her in 'saving' their citizens from financial-doom, as well as the email from a 'friend' who needs $$$ wired to them, as they've lost all of theirs, while traveling or on vacation. WOW is all I can say! I must admit, that, the perpetrators, behind, such, 'villainous'-behaviour(s), this, evil-exploitation of 'innocent and naive' people, for, yes...there are, indeed, folks who fall-prey to this, type, 'come on', are 'genius' in their own, 'right'. Too bad they cannot use their 'power' for good, instead of evil, as, it takes a certain amount of 'skill' and, technological 'savvy' to pull off this type stunt. But, alas...these, dirty, denizens of the dark-side of the world of data, are, simply, taking advantage of an 'opportunity', quite, like, many others, in the world, today, who have discovered a way to 'capitalize' on 'common'-ignorance. People, as this, who will do ANYTHING, for a chance to make a few bucks, have ALWAYS, existed, and, will, continue to be a part of our society, and, others, as for them, it seems, money, is, undoubtedly, the 'driving-force' behind their 'schemes', and, they will 'stoop' quite, LOW, in order to realize it. The 'unfortunate'- nature of, such, people is, simply, a reality to be reckoned with, with, this, MUCH, more, necessary, of late. I know, that, there have existed, since the dawn of time, persons, whom are capable of evil-doing; yet, today, due to the 'world of high-tech' with EVERYTHING, available to anyone, at the touch of a button, we are inundated by individuals with 'ill-intent'. As, with most, things, in the world, there is both a positive and a negative-'side', which, presents to us; in the case of the 'Internet', this, holds, VERY, true. One must be very, vigilant, while 'traversing' the 'net', or, in life, in general, for, there will ALWAYS be 'wolves in sheep's clothing', looking for their, next, 'meal'. Be cautious and wary...'it's a 'jungle' out there'! Just Sayin'...
