In this lifetime, it is possible to amass an assortment of, what may be considered, as, 'wealth'. Certainly, there is the variety of such, which is defined by way of 'dollar and cents', taking all things material, into consideration. Truly, many of us would love to attain this status, in life, as it would, certainly, 'take the heat off' with respect to bills, etc.; And, although, helpful, I have discovered that there are other, far, superior ways, in which one can become prosperous, becoming 'rich' in things, 'non-material', by being abundant in the wisdom offered us in our lives. Growing older, and, paying attention, along the way, is the way in which these, 'Blessings' are garnered. This is why, in my opinion, growing older is a great, gift, to experience. Often, one hears folks fret and complain about the fact that they are aging. Well, if we're fortunate, we get this opportunity. For, as we know, not all people, are given the 'gift' of growing-old. Yes, sometimes, during the aging-process, we may experience changes to our physical-selves that we aren't thrilled about. But, heck...as long as one has the right attitude, anything can be overcome, by way of acceptance. Being allowed the chance to grow 'rich in years' isn't a thing that we can assume to be privileged to experience. One never knows from moment to moment, what life may have in store for him or her. This is why I am resolute in my daily, practice, of fully appreciating, each, day God gives me. And, in this process, intent upon learning something new, each and every day, as well as hoping to impart something to others, whom I encounter. Although, a long-lived-life, can allow for this type learning, there are those, whom at a very, young, age, are already 'on board' with this manner of thinking. We all grow, emotionally and spiritually, at our, own, unique pace. By being afforded the chance to live a longer life, we, simply, have, an even, greater, amount of time, to take advantage of, for becoming 'better-off', thriving in the wealth of wisdom and knowledge, that we have at our fingertips, if we're wise enough to take note of it. Just Sayin'...
