So...here's a question for you: When does an, 'opinion', overstep it's bounds, as, such, on it's way to becoming 'judgement'? Let's face facts, EVERYBODY holds opinions of things, and, this, in and of itself, is not a bad thing, as, an opinion, is, simply, the, perceived, personal-point-of-view, or, attitude, one, has, about 'something'..any, given thing. Heck, if I didn't 'share' my opinion(s), via this medium, I'd have nothing to post! Here's the thing about opinions, that, many, folks, it seems, do not 'get'. First...one must ALWAYS attempt to 'keep in mind', that, one person's 'ideal' is, not, necessarily, that, of another. Second: Each, individual, will, typically, hold these, 'beliefs', based on his or her 'vision' of life. Third: The 'opinion' of anyone, is 'valid', in, that, this is how he or she perceives things; However, these, 'notions' do NOT need impact, or, infringe, on others, and, ONLY will, when we allow for this to occur. What I'm suggesting is, that, regardless, of what other, people, may believe, espouse, display, or, think, it has NOTHING to do with us...it's 'their stuff'...PERIOD. I've heard the expression, 'Opinions are like a**holes...EVERYBODY has got one!' True enough; and, this is OK. It's the 'judgement' part that isn't so good; For, judgement, in the 'Christian' sense, infers, belittlement, criticism, disapproval, and, an otherwise, 'holier than thou' attitude, which, is NEVER cool. Every person, on the face of this planet, is entitled to believe, feel, and, think, what he or she chooses, as long as this doesn't 'translate' into harm or hatefulness toward others, for, this, whether one is a follower of Christ, or, not, is, simply BAD-form! This, is, only, MY opinion...BUT, I'm stickin' to it! Just Sayin'...
