Are YOU Runnin' On Empty?

     When life, as it has a habit of doing, due to the various 'struggle and strife' we encounter, drains us of our 'energy', saps us of our strength, and, otherwise, just, causes us to lose our 'power', we need a place to go to 'recharge'; After all, we are NOT 'Energizer-Bunnies' designed to 'keep on keepin' on', without a little assistance. God can give that help, when we are feeling 'lost and hopeless'; He can 'recharge' the battery of our soul. 'He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.' (Isa. 40:29) When we are at our lowest-point, drained of emotional-resources, we can place our hope in the Lord and find our strength in Him. For, His promise to us, for each new day, is this: 'Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.' (v. 31) So, just as we rely on the power-companies, National Grid, for folks in these parts, when we lose power, because of Mother-Nature's fury, we need, also, to depend upon God, our 'spiritual-power-source', whenever, we are faced with the 'storms of life'; And, HE, won't, make us wait, or, charge us a dime, for His help.
