Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center Grand Re-Opening

Come join the fun on Friday, Aug. 24 from noon to 5 p.m. as the Rhode Island Complex of the Fish and Wildlife Service re-opens the Visitors Center located at the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge in Middletown.

Come explore the new Visitor Center exhibits and take part in many other free family fun activities including:

• Surf casting with RIDEM                    
• Refuge, photo blind, and bird walks
• Bird of prey demonstration with Horizon Wings
• Creatures of the Bay touch tank with Save the Bay
